It started on a street in W2.
The W2 Collective began in Westbourne Grove — postcode W2, the corner of West London we're named after. We kept noticing the same thing on our own doorstep: brilliant independent cafés, restaurants and salons doing everything right in person, yet quietly losing out online. Genuinely excellent places with barely any reviews, and drawers full of paper business cards that ended up in the bin.
So we started small and local. One tap to leave a Google review at the till. One tap to share a menu or a booking page instead of fumbling for a card. We walked it into the shops on our own street first — and it worked. Owners watched their ratings climb, their regulars come back, and new customers walk in because of what they'd read.
That neighbourhood idea grew into two focused products — W2 Taps for connection and W2 Reviews for reputation — now helping businesses well beyond W2. The belief hasn't changed since day one: the best technology gets out of the way, and a single tap should be all it takes.
